Photo 101, Day Eleven: A Pop of Color (Yellow)

June 22, 2015June 22, 2015 / crbfay / 1 Comment

Not much time today, so I took a little stroll around the garden looking for pops of yellow against the manic green that’s taken over after the last weeks of rain, nothing but rain.

No adjustments other than cropping.

ORNAMENTAL ILLNESSES is a writing blog with three aims:

• To hone my craft. If you're gonna go around and call yourself a writer, you should write. You should also know when to stop writing. Having a blog forces me to declare something "finished" enough.
• To process my struggle with long term mental illness. Right now I'm concerned with my recovery and awakening from decades of over-medication. (I'm not interested in debates over the efficacy of psych meds; I only know my story.)
• Receive external validation. How else am I supposed to know how I feel unless I see those little red notification numbers change?
